Meet Our Staff

Pastor - Chris Polischuck

Chris Polischuck is the Pastor of Pisgah United Methodist Church. In addition to preaching at Sunday morning worship services, he teaches Adult Sunday School, the Alpha series, oversees member visitation and performs weddings and funerals.

Chris holds Bachelors and Masters degrees in Public Administration from Ohio State University. He studied in the Masters of Divinity program at Luther-Northwestern Theological Seminary in St. Paul, MN, completed a summer of Clinical Pastoral Education at Boston City Hospital, and an internship at a four-church parish in Upstate New York.

Chris began his pastoral career preaching as a fill in for vacationing pastors and churches that had a need for temporary pastors. He came to Pisgah in 2006.

Chris has a heart for teaching people the Word of God and making theology practical in their everyday lives. His passion is to clearly communicate God’s love through his Son, Jesus Christ so that is it understood and experienced by all.

Chris and his wife Marcia, welcome you to Pisgah! We are a small church with a big heart, and we would enjoy the opportunity to show you what Pisgah fellowship is all about!

Music Director - Joann Andersen

Joann Andersen is the Pisgah Church Music Director. She coordinates the Adult and Children's choirs. Her goal is to use music to spread the Good News of Jesus as our Lord and Savior. Mrs. Andersen is the Director of Stubbs' Music Center here in Tallahassee and also works in retirement and nursing home facilities doing Music Therapy. She welcomes anyone who would like to join in Pisgah's Music Ministry. No experience is required. Just a heart for the Lord and a desire for fun and fellowship.
